Daily Finds: Short Rompers

I just adore Rompers, they are so perfect for spring! During the winter you can add tights to rompers, or at least that is what I do. Rompers/Jumpsuits are a hit or miss for me, they are perfect on short girls. But us tall girls sometimes it is hard to find a cute one that fits just right. I recently tried on the Urban Outfitters romper below, and it fit perfectly! So give it a try! Rompers easy to transfer from day to night with just a change of your shoes.

Daily Finds: Tropical Prints

I have been seeing pictures of tropical prints throughout stores here lately, it is a fun easy summer pattern! Who would have thought tropical prints would be a fashion trend, but I like how people are taking a modern twist on the old fashion pattern. I recently was creeping through Whitney Port’s Instagram and came across these Vans once I zoomed in on her Coachella Packing picture. I thought I would make a little collage of my favorite tropical print items!

For Kaylee

I have been so absent for the past couple days. I have had so much going on, with exams approaching and a best friend getting engaged a lot has been going on. I thought I would write a little bit about my bestie who just got the sweetest proposal. I was lucky enough, to be the friend to take her to get her nails done before (but she had no clue); I couldn’t stop smiling at her the day before. How exciting that one of my closest babes in about a year will be marrying the love of her life, it’s so sweet to think about. Such a strong loving and Christian relationship they have. Here lately we have been to a few bridal shops, looking at venues, and searching for the perfect decorations. I have been in love with everything, I can admit I have been obsessing over wedding stuff via Pinterest because of this engagement.
I recently became close with Kaylee, at first we were just church friends. Now I couldn’t imagine my life without her, she is honestly one of the most caring and down to earth gal I know. She is honestly going to be the most beautiful perfect bride, and I can’t wait to be apart of this whole wedding planning journey. It will for sure be a journey, a lot of long nights making crafts and some tears of things not working out as planned. But I honestly am so excited to start on all the craziness! I can’t wait to watch her try on her first wedding dress, find the perfect shoes, and kiss her babe Dakota. Through this wedding journey I have already made some close friends, that I will cherish forever. Kaylee is a total babe and such a wonderful bride already.

Daily Finds: Stars

I found these cute high top star Vans, and fell in love. So I started searching for other star clothing, and found several I am in love with. I love anything red, white, and blue…so I thought why wouldn’t I love stars too!?
UOHere they are! These are the Vans Authentic Washed Denim High-Top Sneaker in star print from Urban Outfitters. These can be found here, for $65.00! I have these sitting in my cart right now, just waiting to get paid. Right now Urban is running low on sizes, but if you go to the Vans.com website..they have all sizes and for the same price!
zaraThis is the Star Print T-Shirt from Zara, and can be found here. This tee is $19.90, and comes in black also but with stars on the sleeves! I want both. Would be great with denim cut offs, or with some cute patterned skinnies.
wildfoxThis star sweater is the Seeing Stars- Lennon Sweater from Wildfox! This sweater can be found here, for $168.00! This sweater comes in: black (pictured above) and magenta. I love a good oversized destroyed sweater, great with cutoffs!

Daily Finds: Festival Wear

Everyone is getting ready for festivals of all kinds right now. I wish I was going to Coachella, but I guess I will have to wait. I have been planing what I would wear, and what I would buy for the trip. Here are a few of my favorite items that I would want to bring with me! Pretty much every “known” clothing store is starting a festival wear, because even us not going to a festival are wanting to still dress it! Even American Eagle is selling festival wear, not that I would suggest you to go there…but at least they are trying? My favorites for festival wear are: Free People, Arnhelm, Nordstrom, American Apparel, and Topshop.

I have been seeing hair chalk talk everywhere, I bought some from Sally’s a few months ago and love it. Mine for some reason actually colored my hair, so now I have purple hair kind of. Free People has been promoting their hair chalk a lot lately, and I tried some at their store and it worked wonders. I have pretty white hair so it came out really bright, but for you brunettes it works on you too! The girl trying to sell it to me showed me it on her hair (that was jet black), and it looked just as bright. This Free People Hair Chalk is $14.00, and comes in these colors: pink (pictured above), black, green, yellow, and blue.

FPAnkle boots are a must have for your festival wear (other than sandals). I think these are perfect! They have a distressed worn in look, that would look great paired with a floral feminine dress! Also I love the detailing they added with the buckle. These are from Free People by Jeffrey Campbell – Distressed Collins Boot – for $228.00!

ABB ABBI have recently discovered the website Arnhem, but I sure do love it. It is a little expensive but they have great sales. This website is PERFECT for festival/boho wear. These two items above are from there! The first picture is the Decoder Day Dress in white for $135.00! Great boho dress to be thrown on with sandals, sunnies, and a floppy hat! The second picture is the Isshella Kimono in Cream for $118.00 (on sale for $80.50).

FPI love these pants, so comfortable and easy to throw on with a simple shirt! These would be great for running around or just throwing on during the day. These would go great with the Jeffrey Campbell boots (pictured above). These are from Free People the Paisley Mixed Print Pant for $78.00!

FPI have been trying to find a cute scarf to use as a scarf and headwrap! This scarf from Free People is perfect for that. Who doesn’t love a multi-use piece of clothing! This is the Asymmetrical Scarf from Free People for $48.00! This comes in: blue/yellow dye (pictured above), blue ikat, pink ikat, green, indigo green.

FPI recently did a Daily Finds post about Moon Sunglasses, I do think those are perfect for festival wear but I decided to add these instead. I saw these and fell in love! These are Abbey Road Sunglasses from Free People for $18.00! These sunnies come in: rose crystal, ink, blue/tortoise (pictured above), and crystal clear.

UOAnd you need a perfect hat or two. Here is one I have been obsessing over for awhile now from Urban Outfitters. I just love the idea of a white hat, it is so spring. This is the Nubby Floppy Panama Hat from Urban Outfitters for $32.00, and also comes in a pretty grey color (that I love as well).

Celine Paris

I have been crazy over a Celine Paris shirt here lately, I saw Kelly Osbourne wearing one and it look gorgeous. Then I get an email saying a company is shipping me on to write about. How awesome is that!? I mean it is a knockoff but still, I love it just as much. I got this from Etsy in a Large, as you can tell it runs pretty small! The bar necklace in this post is from a boutique I work at, you can find them on Facebook (here). If you are interested in any of our merchandise please email me, we ship!

After posting my first “outfit post” I received a few emails with great compliments and asking for more. That was a relief for sure. Thanks for the awesome support, babes. Here lately I have been swamped with ideas of starting a business, starting something that is all mine. It is crazy to think in a few short years I will be done with school, in my own house, and with an awesome job (hopefully). Until then I will blog, rant, and confess to you readers. I fell in love with the Sam Edelman ‘Louie’ boot, but couldn’t bring myself to buy them. Then a few weeks later I see these babies at Target, and had to get them. I do own a pair of Sam Edelman boots are they are so comfortable and well built, would have been a great buy..but these Target ones I got for 50% are doing me just fine.

Love Me.
